Lynda Smart, successful Marketing Manager at HotSpring World, is herself a survivor of breast cancer (15 years now) after having developed an aggressive form of the disease at the tender young age of 36. Many of the HotSpring World team have also had members of their family touched by cancer making the battle against this personal to them. Their aim is to fight against the disease by raising as much money as possible for charities that are researching cutting edge radical new cancer treatments. The team are also well aware that we can all win the battle by pulling together and raising awareness of what to look for, leading to the earliest possible effective treatment when a problem is first detected.
Lynda has had commissioned for HotSpring World, one very special Pink Hot Tub which is being raffled for Breast Cancer Research as part of breast cancer awareness month in October. During this time, all HotSpring World’s Showrooms will be brightly decorated with pink balloons along with other supporting touches and material to publicise this good cause. This campaign will be running at a showroom near you during the months of September and October 2015.
Collecting for charity at each showroom
There will also be collection boxes for the charity Cancer Research UK in all of the showrooms if you prefer to make a donation directly to this charity on the day. Everyone is of course more than welcome to come along and join in the fun and anyone wishing to take part can do so by simply purchasing a £2 raffle ticket from the showroom.
